Eastham Country Park is a Green Flag Park situated on the banks of the Mersey at the bottom of Ferry Road, just off the A41 New Chester Road at Eastham. The Park is mainly deciduous woodland comprising of Beech and Oak trees. There are two main car parks and a small visitor centre. The Park is ideal for bird watching, woodland walks or family days out.
Lucy and Mark install two new all steel pic-nic tables on the amenity field at Eastham Country Park.
The new steel tables replace the two wooden tables that unfortunately were set on fire by yobs.
The new tables have an elongated end, to accommodate a wheel chair
Blue tit fledgling that had been got at by a dog at Eastham Country Park.
I took the small bird to the area where it was attacked and placed it in the undergrowth in the hope that it's mother would find it.
When I returned to check an hour later it had gone, so fingers crossed it was re-united with it's mum...Moral of the story...Keep your dogs under control.
